Activities/Attractions: Moreton Island is one of the largest sand islands in the world and forms much of the eastern side of Moreton Bay. Situated 40km's from Brisbane, the island is 38km long, and 9km across at its widest point and covers 185 sq. km. As a private guest, you are entitled to use all resort facilities, which include:

- boat hire
- wind surfing, snorkeling
Every night you can enjoy watching the dolphins come into the resort to be feed at the jetty. The resort offers 4x4 tours to many attractions around the island: enjoy fishing on the surf side of the island or investigate the island for yourself. The resort has two restaurants and local shop with basic everyday needs.
Helicopter rides run regularly over the island in appropriate weather. The resort offers beautiful sandy beaches and safe swimming areas. The resort also offers two swimming pools. Every day and night there is always organized activities for guests to join in at their leisure.

General Information: Our Moreton Island Accommodation at Tangalooma Resort, situated on Moreton Island in Queensland, Australia, is a two storey villa which can sleep 8 people ... and the villa is situated right on the water front.
The Resort is on the calm side of Moreton Island, accessed only by the Tangalooma Flyer, which leaves Holt Street at Pinkenba or two barges, one leaves Scarborough and one Brisbane. The island can only be accessed by four wheel drive. Your vacation rental features:

"The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We stayed for two nights and 3 days and loved every minute, the boys loved the sand tobogganing and I can wholeheartedly recommend the relaxing body massage! We hired a small boat for three hours and sailed to the wrecks for some snorkelling - very excited to see so many different fish! but the highlight was walking along the beach to the jetty in the setting sun and seeing the dolphins swimming along with us then actually getting into the sea, seeing and hand feeding these magnificent creatures close up will be a memory I will always treasure!"
