Activities/Attractions: Nerja is on the seashore some 50 kilometres from Málaga on the N340 coastal highway, and marks the eastern tip of Málaga's Costa del Sol. Once a sleepy fishing village, the town now has a population of over 12,000. Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches with powdery sand and sparkling clear water. All major water sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing.
Within the town itself, there is a handful of small sandy coves and the main Burriana Beach is only 5 min walk from the Club Litoral apartment (excellent sea view from apartment balcony). The town centre is only 10 minutes walk away and there are a large variety of lovely restaurants and bars (including Tapas Bars).
Frigliana is a cluster of white chalked houses which are in the Moorish style and the narrow, cobble stoned streets of the upper part are flanked by an abundance of colourful flowers which are a joy to walk through.
At an altitude of 1,000ft it offers beautiful views over evergreen orchards of avocado and olive trees and foothills sloping down towards the Mediterranean. It was named prettiest village of Andalusia in 1997 and is now protected.
General Information: Welcome to Nerja Holiday Rentals, where we have three beautiful properties: an apartment and a bungalow at Balcon de Frigiliana and an apartment at Club Litoral. Nerja lies at the foot of the mountains at the eastern end of the Costa del Sol, just 45 minutes from Malaga Airport, along the new main highway.
