The island has many surprisingly different areas of natural beauty and enjoys a stable climate: pleasant temperatures in all seasons, warm in the winter, not too hot in the summer. The El Paso district lies in the middle of the island and contains many beautiful areas, including the Caldera and the Cumbrecita. El Paso is situated in the upper part of the Aridane valley, at 650m above sea-level. It has a population of 7,200 and an area of 135 sq km.
The major event is the fiesta of Nuestra Señora del Pino. This occurs every two years during the last week of August, when the patron is bought to the village in a popular pilgrimage.

A: The closest airport to the apartment is Santa Cruz De La Palma (airport code SPC). From here you can get a taxi direct to the apartment and it will take approximately 30 minutes to get there. Alternatively you can hire a car.
Q: How far away are the local shops?
A: The local shops, where you will be able to purchase food, drink, etc. is only a 2 minute walk away. There are also plenty of taxis/ buses available, which is as well only a 2 minute walk away from your doorstep.

Our delightful rural village apartment is centrally located with breathtaking unrestricted views to the Caldera De Taburiente National Park and the lush Valle Aridane ... offering a quiet location with shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and public transport just a few minutes walk away. The airport is only a 30 minute drive away.
La Palma is one of the smaller Canary Islands with no mass-tourism here. The area is an absolute haven for walking and nature lovers. The one bedroom apartment includes a living room, fitted kitchen and bathroom and can accommodate 3 people.
