General Information: Welcome to Qupqugiaq Inn in midtown Anchorage ... a great with twenty-five rooms, remarkable architecture, full of flowing curves, organic materials, and a high level of craftsmanship. We hope that this artistry expresses a spirit of care that you will enjoy during your stay with us.
We are wrapping up a major remodeling project, and you will now find many new amenities, such as beds (with a sun, star and moon motif) that we have designed. Twelve rooms have private bathrooms. Downstairs is Istanbul Cafe, open daily and serving authentic Turkish food. This is a great place to get oriented when coming to Alaska.

The original purpose of Qupqugiaq Inn was to provide economic support for our school but we always try to maintain a certain human scale and human interaction at the inn.

"Great place - we were sent here by locals and came back for seconds. Extra, extra clean - room 26 (broken hinge, remember? - that was quickly fixed) a little noisy but we loved the whole atmosphere of the place. We'll be back next time we're in Anchorage - and recommend you to any travelers."
