We offer game drives, day or night in open game viewing vehicles or luxury air-conditioned vehicles. Qualified game rangers provide guests with a thrilling opportunity to view not only the Big Five but also the full spectrum of flora and fauna that the nearby Kruger National Park has to offer. There are in excess of 350 bird species that add to the overall enjoyment.

Marloth Park is unique in that the game roams freely through our property, unlike the KNP where guests are fenced off in camps and have to drive to see the animals. This is an opportunity to see the game up close and personal while relaxing on the deck.

Guests can enjoy sun downers at the Crocodile River in an open game viewing vehicle while watching the elephants and buffalo drinking in the Kruger Park. Marloth Park has 3 of the Big 5 and a multitude of other game. To gain access to the KNP is a 15 minute drive to the Crocodile Bridge Gate. This area of the Park has very high concentrations of game and it is not uncommon to see 4 of the Big 5 in one day.

"Leon and his staff provided a wonderful, personalized experience during our stay at Grand Kruger Lodge. The food was exquisite (Mozambican prawns!) and the variety of wildlife both at the Lodge and in the Kruger Park itself was awesome. The highlight had to be on our final day's safari, when we saw all the Big Five within the first hour of the drive, including a pair of leopards in a tree and a pride of lions attempting a kill within 20 meters of our vehicle (the impala got away that time!). We highly recommend Grand Kruger for anyone wanting to experience the African Bush Country."

"Great experience all round. The setting was beautiful and we particularly enjoyed sitting round the bush fire on an evening. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and plenty of it.
