Activities/Attractions: An architectural jewel, Bath is a quiet, uncrowded and small New England town which is home to the Maine Maritime Museum. Centrally located on Maine's coast, Bath is just north and east of Portland, next door to Brunswick and Bowdoin College and 20 minutes from Freeport and L.L. Bean.
Bath fronts on the Kennebec River and is close to two ocean beaches, including Popham Beach State Park, rated one of the most beautiful in New England. Of course, a trip to Maine wouldn't be complete without visiting one of its lighthouses, a whale watching adventure or light tackle casting for stripers on our river.
