Tofino, British Columbia is the most popular destination on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Tofino is known for its long beautiful beaches and towering rainforests. Eco-tours are growing in popularity and offer visitors a chance to explore the spectacular scenery at Tofino's doorstep. Watch eagles swoop overhead, and if you're lucky, spot a black bear hunting for food on the shore. You may even cross paths with transient gray whales that live in the area.

Sea kayakers will be delighted with the sights and sounds of the waters along Clayoquot Sound and Pacific Rim National Park. Pull your kayak up to the sandy beaches and discover incredible tide communities of sea stars, sea urchins, and many other fascinating saltwater creatures. Pacific Rim National Park and the West Coast Trail are popular destinations for hikers.

Tofino's new bike path provides villagers and guests alike with safe walking, cycling, skateboarding or rollerblading to Mackenzies Beach, Chestermans Beach and Cox Bay. Although the property is out of the way of the action in the village, it is only a 5 minute drive, or a leisurely walk or cycle to most shops, tour boat companies, good restaurants and splendid beaches.

You can enjoy morning coffee on your porch while surveying the boats and people coming and going on the wharf. You can also moor your own boat at the dock, or launch a canoe or kayak right in front of the cottages.

General Information: Welcome to Tofino Inlet Cottages and House ... built in 1970 and 1964 respectively, entirely of West coast cedar by a Swiss master craftsman, with warmth and comfort that is hard to beat. The house and cottages are surrounded by lovely, well-established gardens of azaleas, rhododendrons and hydrangeas, which provide privacy and an atmosphere of repose.

The cottages overlook Tofino Inlet and the crab dock, and have views that are both entertaining and breathtaking. Looking northeast from the porches, one can see snow-covered Forbidden Plateau, Meares Island, and Lemmens Inlet. Looking west, one has a view of the length of Tofino Harbour. The sunsets from the cottages are spectacular. The crab dock is the last of three government docks on Tofino Inlet, and is used by local fishermen as well as visiting mariners.

• All our suites are decorated in fresh, colorful tones and textures, and warmly lit to make you feel comfortable and welcome
  
• The Main Cottage suites feature private porches, living/dining room, and full kitchen with microwaves, a BBQ site on property for guest use, bedroom with double bed & duvet, and full bathroom with shower & tub. An additional hide-a-bed in the living-room make these suites comfortable for up to four people
  
• The Upper Cottage suites feature: private porch, two twin beds, a wee kitchen/dining with microwave, fridge, a BBQ site on property for guest use and an assortment of useful kitchen gadgets. These suites are perfect for those who don't want to do much more than make a cup of coffee, or fix a plate of hors d'ouevres and uncork a bottle of wine
  
• Our Garden Suite is at the top of the path through the azalea garden. It overlooks the crab dock, and has a wonderful view the length of both Tofino Inlet and Lemmens Inlet. It features: A queen-bed/sitting room, full kitchen/dining, full bath w/shower, a private porch and a BBQ site on the property for guest use
  

• Tofino Inlet House is a beautiful custom built cedar A-Frame with oak floors that sits on a waterfront bluff overlooking Tofino Harbour. It has a spacious living room with large windows and a wood burning fireplace. There are two bedrooms, one with an ensuite three piece bathroom, two bathrooms in total. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining room seats eight comfortably. From the house there are expansive views of Tofino Harbour, Lemmens Inlet, Lone Cone and Catface mountains and the islands offshore. There are two large private sundecks, one overlooking the harbour and the Crab dock, the other overlooking the garden with patio table and Bar-b-que. There is a TV/DVD, a stereo system, wireless internet and local phone
