Activities/Attractions: Aberdyfi (often Aberdovey in English) is a seaside resort in the Dyfi estuary to the south of Snowdonia National Park. It is a beautiful little resort and is very popular with visitors due to its golden sandy beaches and the clear blue waters of the Blue Flag Beach.
There's plenty to do with boat trips and fishing trips from the harbour, and a choice of activity holiday watersports including canoeing, sailing, and windsurfing. Families with young children love it as the wide expanses of sand are ideal for children's games. Or you could just laze on the beach and enjoy the fantastic views. The yacht club is the focal point of all the water activities and the small jetty is open for a pleasant stroll.

General Information: Welcome to The Chapel House and Quarry Cottage ... a stunning renovation of period property in an area of Special Scientific Interest in the Snowdonia National Park, which makes Smugglers Cove one of the most exciting holiday lets on the Welsh coast.
The property has been entirely renovated in 2006, having been designed by "Eco Architects" Simmonds Mills with assistance from The Wales Tourist Board. Smugglers Cove at Frongoch Boatyard is situated in the Snowdonia National Park, just off the foreshore/beach of the Dyfi (Dovey) estuary, on the A493 approximately 3 miles up the estuary from Aberdyfi and 5 miles from Machynlleth.
Accommodating 14+ people in two adjacent buildings, Smugglers Cove is a recently renovated Old Chapel & Cottage (Chapel House) and adjacent 2 storey cottage (Quarry Cottage) laid out as a single Holiday Let Unit for family/friends reunions, group get togethers and holidays.
- Chapel House sleeps 10 and is the spacious main building
- With 3 double bedrooms (one with a four poster bed), 1 twin
bedroom and 1 double bunk bedroom, three of which are on the ground
floor
- The Dining area can accommodate 16 around a single table and the
lounge area has soft seating for the same number
- The kitchen has a large 5 ring gas hotplate and a gas oven
- Outside there is a large recreation area and patio with outdoor
seats and tables and barbeque
- Quarry Cottage, a separate but adjacent, sleeps 4 and is a two
storey cottage
- With a double and a twin bedroom, one on the ground floor with
direct exterior access as well as interior access
- It has its own smaller kitchen, lounge and dining area, seating
4 around the table and with soft seating for 4
- There is a gas hob and oven
- There is a large shower room/toilet on the ground floor
