There are great spots to visit in the surrounding area such as the Boulders near Babinda and Josephine Falls near Mirriwinni. The Palmerston Highway which connects Innisfail with the Atherton Tablelands is a stunning drive with several well marked and maintained National Park walking trails off it. Innisfail is an attractive town on the Johnstone River and between there and Tully there are many beautiful beaches with my favourite being Etty Bay. General Information: Bramston Beachfront Cottage, our old-fashioned beach house, has been the family escape for eight years. We spent several months exploring every beach from Tully Heads to Cairns seeking our idyllic hideaway. At Bramston, we found what we were looking for: a quiet beachside haven that seemed to have been forgotten in the rush to develop the beautiful coastline flanking the Great Barrier Reef. The Bramston Beachfront Cottage in Bramston Beach, Queensland, Australia has 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, bathroom and toilet. The children's bedroom has 2 bunks (4 beds) and the parents bedroom has a queen size bed. This bedroom opens onto the verandah and looks out onto the garden and the sea which is about 60 metres away. The garden adjoins a small nature reserve which you walk through to the beach. The cottage also has an attached garage and laundry (washer, dryer and tub). We provide all the bed linen, drying-up towels and bath-towels. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric stove and oven, large fridge and all the cutlery, plates, glasses and cooking equipment that you could need. There is also a TV. There are outdoor chairs, a table and a gas barbecue. Payment Accepted: Cash or cheques (and travellers cheques) or direct bank transfer.
