Attractions: Penington Friends House is the Quaker residence in Manhattan's Greenwich Village area.

Our house derives many of its special qualities from the people who live here. Our long term residents, a changing population of men, women and children, are from varied national, religious and cultural backgrounds.

There are about 30 of us, who span a wide range of ages, and include working professionals, and retired persons. We are artists, writers, dancers, actors, musicians, business people, service providers and students. All are people who enjoy simple comfortable living at reasonable cost.

Preference is given to Friends and those people involved in socially responsible concerns as we support people who are dedicated to making valuable contributions toward world peace, our planet and each other.
