Activities/Attractions: The Willamette Valley is the heart of Oregon’s agriculture country. During spring and summer growing seasons, roadside stands dot the country lanes, and farmers’ markets appear in the valley’s historic towns.
Covered bridges beckon drivers to explore the many back roads, and the valley’s flat terrain and temperate climate make it a favorite for hikers and cyclists, who also enjoy the paved paths in the college towns of Eugene and Corvallis.
Nestled among its rolling hills are over 200 wineries producing a medley of vintages - Pinot noir, Pinot gris and Riesling to mention a few. The valley, dubbed Oregon’s Wine Country, is one of Oregon’s major wine growing regions.

"My husband and I took a chance on a fairly new B&B in the heart of the wine country in beautiful Oregon. We found it on their website, and were impressed with what they had to offer: Quiet scenery, luxurious rooms with private baths, and a hearty breakfast. We were able to cuddle by the fire and nibble on the house goodies left out for us guests to enjoy. The owners, Joe and Shari, were extremely accommodating and helpful when it came to site seeing and local restaurants. The Lobenhaus is really a magnificent home which we will definitely visit again! "The Lobenhaus combines the best of both worlds- Rustic beauty and modern convenience. The rooms are comfortable and the common areas are stunning. There are 2 lounge areas on different levels. Each opens to a large deck with views of the property and woods. Most of the top wineries are within a few minutes and there are several outstanding restaurants in the area. The hosts are wonderful and always willing to go out of their way to help."

"We stayed for 6 nights and couldn't fault a thing! The location - in the heart of the Oregon wine country - is perfect, the guests' living areas and bedrooms and were very spacious, the grounds of the property very attractive (28 acres, much planted to vines) and Shari and Joe excellent hosts. Particularly notable were the breakfasts (let's just say that we didn't ever have to eat lunch!) and the design of the house - it was specially built as a B&B very recently, and everything has been very well thought out. Highly recommended."
"Lovely, lovely, lovely! We just completed a wonderful weekend at the Lobenhaus and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. I'd like to add that this bed and breakfast is the first where I've felt really comfortable and at home throughout the house and grounds. The rooms are a comfortable size and each have their own large bathrooms and access to a spacious outdoor deck or patio. We enjoyed more than one bottle of wine while looking out over the luscious landscape. And the breakfasts are awesome. If you're looking for a fabulous get-a-way, we highly recommend the Lobenhaus."
