Now, there are cattle, sheep, and pigs in summer and fall, migrating geese in winter, and chickens, goats, barnyard cats, deer, eagles, and osprey year round. There's lots to see and do along the Lewis and Clark trail and everyone in town is very friendly! We have:

The grandeur of the Lower Columbia River shipping channel takes center stage on a 110-acre historic farm on Puget Island, only 90 minutes from Portland, Oregon, and just 5 min's to Cathlamet's quaint antique shops, galleries, gift shops, grocery stores, and restaurants via a bridge.

It's ideal for family vacations, romantic weekends, country getaways with friends, as a central home for travel through scenic southwest Washington, or for history buffs and wildlife, kayaking, bicycling, and fishing enthusiasts.

Bed/Bath: All towels, linens, bedding provided, alarm clock, hair dryer, and iron.

Kitchen: most small appliances (blender, bread maker, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven) and some cooking basics (sugar, salt/pepper, oil/cooking spray), dishes, etc. BBQ Bring your own! There's a broiler in the oven, but no grill. If you d like, you re welcome to bring your BBQ there's plenty of room on the back deck.

Media: Cable TV and VCR, portable radio and CD player, local phone, high speed internet access.

Entertainment: Games/puzzles for everyone, video library (small, but growing), books on local history for everyone, kids story books not to mention the view!
