Activities/Attractions: The area around Byng Inlet is home to some of the best freshwater fishing and most breathtaking landscapes in the world. This is a great place for angling, hunting, boating, and so much more. Byng Inlet is named for British Rear Admiral John Byng and today, Byng Inlet is classified as a "ghost town" in some popular books.
A small town with small streets makes this a beautiful sight seeing visit. The old hotel has been fixed up and is now a residence. It sits atop a small mountain as you enter the town. The mill has some excellent ruins and hundreds of pieces of wood still litter the lakeside by the mill as if waiting for someone to cut them.

On the north side of Byng Inlet is the town of Britt, a couple of minutes ride by boat or 25 minutes by car. Britt has marinas, grocery stores, LCBO, movie rentals, excellent restaurants.
General Information: Welcome to 'Club Shed' Vacation Cottage ... our family cottage for 16 years. It is a perfect family fun vacation place, available from May 1 thru October 31. "Club Shed" is 45 minutes north of Parry Sound on Georgian Bay, an exclusive vacation property that features - a sandy beach, protected waters, great swimming, comfortable accommodations for 8+, and easy road access.
The interior is clean and cozy with great views, 3 bedrooms and one 3-piece bathroom. The exterior is pine board & batten with a huge deck over looking the beach and dock ... with a fire pit on the beach. We have taken great care in ensuring it is equipped for maximum enjoyment inside and out. The cottage is very comfortable with everything you need:

Our shoreline is 120’ of beautiful sand, shallow for small children and drops off gradually to over 12 feet at the end of the dock so it is great for swimming and boats of any size.
The fishing is fantastic, a destination for muskie fisherman from all over the world. The bass and pike are plentiful, also pickerel (walleye). This area is also becoming popular for salmon fishing out on the bay.
