Bellevue is the largest city on the Eastside, and the fourth largest city in Washington state. To the East are the snow-capped mountains of the Cascades, to the south, Mount Rainier dominates the horizon, and to the north, Mount Baker marks the proximity of the Canadian border. Kelsey Creek Park has hiking trails, a playground and a barnyard zoo. A Japanese garden honors Yao, Bellevue's sister city in Japan. The Bellevue Botanical Garden in Wilburton Hill Park offers demonstration gardens and a 1/2 mile trail through native forest, meadow and marsh.
