We are only an hour and half drive from Yellowstone National Park and 25 min. from Bozeman. The Lewis and Clark Caverns and the Dinosaur Museum in Bozeman are places you do not want to miss. For easy hiking and lots of beauty, do not miss nearby Hyalite Recreation Area in the Gallatin National Forest. You can drive there by taking 19th Avenue South in Bozeman. It is 12 miles south of Bozeman. If you have a map, you can also take the shortcut from The Trout Club by going East on Cottonwood Road off of Hwy 191. Lone Mountain is the home of two luxury ski resorts: Big Sky and Moonlight Basin. It is just a short drive from the cabins. Bridger Bowl Ski Resort is located 15 miles on the other side of Bozeman. It is much less expensive than the luxury resorts and it is only a few minutes further away. "We just wanted to send you a word of thanks and tell you that we were in love with Annie's before we got here and are even more so now after calling it home for the past 4 nights. We have run the wheels off of our rental car and will be working our way to Jackson at day's end tomorrow for an overnight stay and daytrip Monday in the Tetons ... back here Monday night. Everything is secure here....fishing has been slow, but still wonderful to walk to the Gallatin at daybreak. Thanks a million! Hope to do this again soon! God Bless!" "I wanted to express our gratitude for letting us stay at Cutthroat Cabin. We had such a spectacular time in Montana and hope to visit again. The cabin was wonderful and everything worked out perfectly! Thanks again!"
"Mike, so sorry we didn't get to meet you, but
Annie's cabin was absolutely wonderful! We arrived to a
foot of fresh clean snow, and it was perfect weather all
week. thank you so much for providing a perfect place for us
to stay." |
"Thank you 'so very much' for once again allowing us to enjoy the Rainbow Cabin over the Thanksgiving Holidays! We all had a wonderful time and enjoyed watching Winter slowly creep in and take over the area. Besides getting in some much needed relaxation, while we were in Montana, we got in some great fishing and hunting. As proof, thought that you would enjoy seeing the attached picture of a nice trout caught on the upper Maddie with outfitter Chad Olsen ... it literally goes from one of my shoulders to the other." "We wanted to thank you again for the wonderful weekend at The Trout Club. It was very restful, yet filled with the opportunity to make great memories." |
General Information: Gallatin River Vacation Rental Cabins are located on 84 acres of forest land in the scenic Gallatin Canyon. The cabins are in a secluded private, tree covered ranch reaching from the river to the first ridge line. Enjoy your vacation on the river or visiting the nearby Yellowstone National Park, the Lewis and Clark Caverns, the dinosaur museum or by just eating and shopping in Bozeman. Our log cabins are completely furnished and are just three miles downstream from where they shot the river scenes in "A River Runs Through It." The Trout Club is truly a year round vacation paradise. Three vacation rental cabins with a half mile frontage on the Gallatin River provide convenient access for fishing. A fourth cabin with two apartments is under construction. We cater to fly fishers, honeymooners, family reunions, winter skiers and tourists.
Payment Accepted: Checks or cash only. Rates: (Prices quoted in US Dollars) $120-275/night Discounts available. "We enjoyed our stay at Annie's cabin so much we are
planning a return trip. There was a problem with our last
stay ... it wasn't long enough!!!! The seclusion and
scenery of the canyon are magnificent. Having the doe eating
on the foliage by the patio our last evening there was so
enjoyable. We also saw several others as we came
and went from the cabin to the river. The Gallatin River is a fly
fisherman's paradise! I have been fly fishing for two
years and never have I seen so many trout rise for such a long
period of time. It is one of the easier rivers to wade and
fish for a novice fisherman like me. The diary on the desk is such
a perfect idea and it gave us some ideas on the flies to use since
we weren't familiar with the area. It made interesting
reading. Thank you for such a nice vacation and a nice cozy
cabin. I highly
recommend it to any couple. It was very nice of you to stop by
since I had been wanting to meet you. Thanks again." "Words can't describe it ... as I sit here, under 7 feet of snow at the base of the Adirondacks, my heart and mind are still on the Gallatin, standing in front of the cabin, catching more fish than any man has a right to ... Speaking for my Dad and my brothers, thanks for that opportunity. It was a 60th birthday present we'll never regret giving." "Thanks for the absolutely wonderful weekend. We look forward to going up again. Maybe this summer, but definitely again next winter. Annie's Cabin was absolutely everything we dreamed it would be. Thanks again." |
