Activities/Attractions: After a busy day and your ready to take your shoes off and relax you can always browse in our gift shoppe. The shoppe closes to the public at 6pm however our guest can shop till 8:00 or 9:00 in the evening.
Our guest sometimes even shop while their breakfast is being prepared. Open year-round for all the many different activities of Vermont ... you can enjoy everything from Golf and Swimming in the spring to taking in the breathtaking views of the fall foliage and in the winter there is Skiing, Snowmobiling and sleigh rides.

General Information: The Hugging Bear Inn was established in 1982. Located in a 140 year old Victorian home, this great B&B has thousands of Teddy Bears awaiting your arrival!
The Teddy Bear motif decorates the entire house along with an extensive four room bear shoppe with over 10,000 bears. The common rooms downstairs include:

a living room that has the homes original pocket doors and wood trim for conversation, board games, or just relaxation

The elaborate wooden staircase leads to the six guest rooms on the second floor, blending 19th Century charm and modern touches, each with a private bath.
Rooms accommodate couples, singles, or families, and children are always welcome. And you'll find a Teddy Bear in every bed!
