"Great new Hotel right on the banks of Lake Estes in Estes Park Colorado. Perfect Views of the mountains and Elk. Their prices are just right for the winter season and they often have fun activities going on, we went to a comedy show in March and that was fantastic. Nice staff and great full breakfast in the morning. We will return again and again."

General Information: The elegant Lake Shore Lodge opened in May of 2000 and is Estes Park's latest resort establishment. It was introduced to the Estes Park area by Estes Valley Resorts, owners of the renowned dude/guest ranch, Aspen Lodge Ranch Resort. Lake Shore Lodge is a stunning three-story log and river rock structure, with vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling south facing windows in the Silverado Restaurant and the Outlaw Saloon, also has wrap-around decks for outdoor dining.

Accommodations range from standard rooms to two room suites with gas fireplaces, two with Jacuzzis in the master bedroom. The property graces the shores of glacier-fed Lake Estes while offering panoramic views of the Continental Divide and the famous peaks in Rocky Mountain National Park. Lake Shore Lodge has several different styles of rooms. Standard rooms include two queen beds with a sitting chair, or king rooms with a queen-sized pull out sofa sleeper. The sofa sleepers, are perfect for younger travelers. All rooms include:

Lake Shore Lodge is a beautiful hotel with nice, modern rooms with great views. I was glad I paid extra for Lakeview ... The lobby is also very attractive, and there are gas fireplaces to add to the mountain ambiance. The restaurant, Silverado, offered great views of the lake ... This is a beautiful hotel with a lot to offer."
